Since its founding in 2004, the Construction Industry Educational Foundation (CIEF) has contributed significantly to the health of the construction and design industry by uncompromisingly supporting educational endeavors, mentoring initiatives and training activities throughout the Sacramento region.

CIEF By-Laws direct the foundation to advance and support the construction industry's educational and research activities for the benefit of employers, employees, consumers and communities impacted by the construction industry in the seven-county Sacramento Region.

What Do We Do?
One primary function of the foundation is to be a fund-raiser – soliciting the community-at-large as well as members of the industry – then consolidating and growing those funds for strategic investment in educational programs and activities that will enhance both the current and future workforce, and thereby, the vitality of our industry.
